Vision

 Habakkuk 2: 2-3

Then the Lord answered me and said: "Write the vision And make it plain on tablets, That he may run who reads it.  3 For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at the end it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry.

Statement of Faith

  • We believe that only the 66 books of the Bible, consisting of the Old and New Testament, to be the only inspired, inerrant, infallible, authoritative Word of God written. The Bible is the final authority for all we believe and how we are to live. (Matt 5:18; Jn 10:35, 17:17; 2 Tim 3:16–17; 2 Pet 1:20–21)
  • We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.  (Gen. 1:26; Deut. 6:4; Ps 104, 139; Mt 3:16-17, 28:198, 10:29–31, 28:19; Acts 17:24–28; 2 Cor 13:14; Eph 1:9–12, 4:4–6; Col 1:16–17; Heb 1:1–3; Rev. 1:4–6)
  • We believe in the deity of Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.  (Matt 1:18–25; Jn 1:1–18; Rom 8:34; 1 Cor 15:1–28; 2 Cor 5:21; Gal 3:10–14; Eph 1:7; Phil 2:6–11; Col 1:15–23; Heb 7:25, 9:13–15, 10:19; 1 Pet 2:21–25; 1 Jn 2:1–2)
  • We believe that for salvation of lost and sinful man regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.  (Matt 3:11; Jn 1:12–13, 3:1–15; Acts 4:29–30; Rom 8:9, 12:3–8; 1 Cor 12:12–13; 2 Cor 1:21–22; Gal 3:1–5; Eph 1:13–14, 5:18)
  • We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by Whose indwelling power and fullness the Christian is enabled to live a godly life in this present evil world. We believe in the literal Second Coming of Christ at the end of the age when He will return to earth personally and visibly to consummate His Kingdom. (Ps 2:7–9, 22:27–28; Jn 14:12, 17:20–26; Rom 11:25–32; 1 Cor 15:20–28, 50–58; Eph 4:11–16; Phil 3:20–21; 1 Thess 4:13–5:11; 2 Thess 1:3–12; Rev 7:9–14)
  • We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation. We believe when Christians die, they pass immediately into the blessed presence of Christ, there to enjoy conscious fellowship with the Savior until the day of the resurrection and the glorious transformation of their bodies. (Mat 25:46; Lk 16:19–31; Jn 5:25–29; 1 Cor 15:35–58; 2 Cor 5:1–10; Phil 1:19–26, 3:20–21; 2 Thess 1:5–10; Rev 20:11–15, 21:1–22:15)
  • We believe in the spiritual unity of all believers in Christ. Eph.
  • We believe in the bodily resurrection of the saved and the lost, the eternal conscious existence of all men either in Heaven or Hell, and in Divine judgments, rewards and punishments.  (John 5:29; 1 Cor. 3:11-15; 15:51-58; 2 Cor. 5:6-10; 1 Thess. 4:13-18; 2 John 8; Rev. 19,20)
  •  We believe the gifts of the Holy Spirit that we see on display in the New Testament are still active within the life of the church. These gifts did not end with the close of the New Testament or the death of the last apostle.    that signs and wonders, as well as all the gifts of the Spirit described in the New Testament, are operative today and are designed to testify to the presence of the Kingdom and to empower and edify the Church to fulfill its calling and mission (Matt 3:11; Jn 1:12–13, 3:1–15; Acts 4:29–30; Rom 8:9, 12:3–8; 1 Cor 12:12–13; 1 Cor 12:1-11; 2 Cor 1:21–22; Gal 3:1–5; Eph 1:13–14, 5:18).
  •  We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ baptizes believers in the Holy Spirit, in whom we are also sealed for the day of redemption. The precedent we find in the New Testament is baptism following conversion by immersion into water. Baptism by immersion is meant to symbolically depict the believer’s real union to Christ in His death and resurrection The Holy Spirit regenerates, forever indwells, and graciously equips the Christian for godly living and service. Subsequent to conversion, the Spirit desires to fill, empower and anoint believers for ministry and witness. And the Lord's Supper are two ordinances to be observed until the time of Christ's return. (Mat 26:26–29, 28:19; Rom 6:1-14; 1 Cor 11:23–34; 1 Pet 3:21)
  •  We believe that Satan is still active and is called “the dragon, the ancient serpent, the devil”, “the prince of this world”, and “the god of this age. He is identified as one who masquerades as an angel of light; thus we understand that Satan is in no way God’s equal, but an inferior being who has been condemned. Satan was judged and defeated at the cross of Christ and will be cast forever into the lake of fire which has been prepared for him and his angels. (Psalm 82; Isa 14:10–17; Ezek 28:11–19; Matt 12:25–29, 25:41; Jn 12:12, 12:31, 16:11; Luke 10:18; 2 Cor 4:4, 11:14; Eph 6:10–20; Col 2:15; 2 Pet 2:4; Jude 6; Rev 12:7–9, 20:10)
  •  The original sin of Adam and Eve broke more than their own relationship with God. It also brought chaos and destruction into the world.  Since the fall of the human race, this world has become a dark place.  Even creation groans, looking for redemption to happen. Humanity and all of creation would be consumed by Satan were it not for the protective hand of God over the world. Sin opened the door to evil in all of its forms and introduced death to the human race (Romans 5:12: 6:23, 8:22).
  • We believe that each local church is self-governing in function and must be free from interference by any ecclesiastical or political authority. We further believe that every human being is directly responsible to God in matters of faith and life.

              (Mt. 22:21; Rom. 13:1; 1 Tim. 2:1-6)

PRAYER OF SALVATION

Rom 10:9-10

9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

"Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner.

I believe in my heart you are the Son of God who died on the cross for my sins and that you were raised from the dead.

Thank you for paying the price for my sins.

Forgive me and make me a new person.

Cleanse me of my sins with your blood, wash me in the water of your Word, and come into my heart.

I commit my life to you today and I receive you as my Lord, as my Savior, and as my High Priest.

I pray this prayer to God, The Father Almighty, in the name of Christ Jesus.

Amen."
